What "It's In The Making" Actually Means To Me
Nobody claps for the middle.
There's no ceremony for "still figuring it out." No highlight reel for almost.
And yet — that's where I am. That's where this brand is.
Closer to the Beginning Than the Spotlight
I'm way closer to the beginning than the spotlight. Closer to drafts than masterpieces. Closer to questions than certainty.
And instead of pretending otherwise… I'm claiming it.
"It's in the making" isn't a cute tagline. It's not branding polish. It's not a productivity flex dressed up as wisdom. It's an admission.
Building a Brand From Scratch Isn't Aesthetic
The world loves finished products. Polished stories. Before-and-after transformations. Clean arcs.
What it doesn't glamorize? The long middle. The quiet grind. The rebuilding that doesn't look impressive yet.
That's what building a brand from scratch actually feels like. Not launch-day fireworks. More like recalibrating. Reworking. Outgrowing your own early attempts and starting again.
Growing Slower on Purpose
There are days this feels sharp. Clear. Aligned. And there are days it feels like a scrimmage. An experiment. A blooper reel.
Both are real.
"It's in the making" means I don't need to scale before I'm solid. I don't need to rush growth just to look like I'm growing. I don't need to perform certainty I haven't earned yet.
I'd rather grow slower on purpose than expand without identity.
The Uncomfortable Middle
Being unfinished is uncomfortable. Half-formed ideas invite opinions. Slow progress looks like stagnation from the outside.
But I know the difference. Slow doesn't mean stuck. Quiet doesn't mean weak. Unfinished doesn't mean failing. It means forming.
Not Toxic. Not Polished. Just Honest.
This brand was never meant to be loud optimism. Never meant to be toxic positivity wrapped in clean aesthetics.
It was meant to feel like someone telling the truth at 2am. Honest. A little sarcastic. Not polished. Not pretending.
Recovery isn't linear. Growth isn't aesthetic. Reinvention isn't inspiring while it's happening.
Sometimes it's awkward. Sometimes it's boring. Sometimes it's just choosing not to quit. That counts.
This Isn't a Victory Lap
"It's in the making" means I care more about alignment than attention. More about integrity than algorithms.
If I outgrow old designs, good. If I have to go back into the lab and rebuild, good. If it takes longer to get it right, good.
That's not failure. That's refinement. There's humility in admitting you're still learning. There's strength in not faking the finish line.
This isn't a victory lap. It's a progress report.
Still Here. Still Building.
I'm building something that feels like me. Not the version that wants applause. The version that wants meaning.
So if you're in the middle too — not brand new, not fully formed, not shining yet — good.
You're not behind. You're not broken. You're not late. You're in the making.
And around here, that's not a weakness. It's the whole point.
The IN THE MAKING. Tee and IN THE MAKING. Hoodie exist for exactly this — the unfinished middle, worn without apology.
